The EDP Energias do Brasil Group is also a partner of Instituto Acende Brasil. This Institute was established in 2006 as result of the activities carried out by the Brazilian Chamber of Electric Energy Investors (CBIEE), an entity in activity since 2000.Instituto Acende Brasil projects are designed to increase the awareness of Brazilian society to the contribution and role of private entrepreneurs in the construction and growth of the electric power sector.
