Business Pact for Integrity and against Corruption4
launched in 2006, this pact assembles around 500 companies and 100 institutions willing to combater the evil of corruption, which is so detrimental to our country. We have been a participant of the Pact since 2007.
National Pact for the Eradication of Slave Labor in Brazil5
only pact of its kind in the world, it was created after a mapping activity by the NGO Repórter Brasil carried out in 2003 on slave labor in the country. The initiative already features 220 companies, trade associations and social society organizations, which together represent over 20% of the Brazilian GDP. Our adhesion occurred in 2009.
created in 2000, the CDP represents 534 institutional investors, with assets worth 64 trillion dollars, which seek information on the way companies are taking a stand in relation to climatic changes, considering the risks and opportunities related to their business, the intensity of their emissions and the mitigation strategies adopted. Edp in Brazil adhered to the initiative in 2006, and as of 2008, its information has been presented together with Edp of Portugal.
